Dear friends, family, & supporters,
I am writing to inform you of my current artist residency at the Arts-Based Research Studio at the University of Alberta. I am honoured to be spending time this spring at the ABRS. In addition to reading lots and getting my hands messy with string portraiture, I will be hosting a number of free events (listed on the poster below).
Thursday nights between 3 & 5PM and 7 & 9PM I will be hosting a drop-in creative space where people can come by and make stuff!
Participants are welcome to bring their own projects but there will also be supplies provided for all kinds of creative exploration.
On the afternoons of Sunday April 30th and Monday May 1st I will be hosting two all-levels workshops on creating imagery with string & mixed media (kids are welcome to attend, too! just let me know), tickets and details can be found here:

Thank you to everyone for your continued support in my creative endeavors, there are no words. Feel free to pass this along to anyone who might be interested, and to come by and visit me on the UofA campus between now and June 2and.
Sincerely,
Maren
