We’re looking for taboo, darkness and commentary on political correctness for a Private Pop-up Show happening between May 7th to May 9th 2020. This is an exploration of hard to handle subject matter. We are seeking a variety of works, ranging from prints, paintings, illustrations, and installation. Any creative meditations at the intersection of taboo and political correctness is welcomed.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo and description of your artwork (finished or in progress) by March 30th 2020 by 5pm to be considered for the show.
Artist invitations will be sent April 6th, 2020. Artist must confirm participation by April 17th. All works must arrive by April 27th.

Juan is a design researcher and art director whose has worked in several industries including fashion & apparel, art, music & entertainment and community & sexual health. His interests are volunteerism, social innovation, design-activism and entrepreneurship. When not doing these things, you can find Juan being gay, tired & hungry.
Maren is an interdisciplinary creative bisexual bipolar gemini who has recently transplanted from Edmonton to Ottawa. Her modalities include illustration, mixed media, movement and music. Maren is passionate about arts accessibility, story telling, mental health advocacy, and community activation.
