An Improvised Musical Talk Show!??? Whaaaaat?

*update (2018-03-23): Hey all, due to unforeseen circumstances this show will be cancelled until a later date. Stay tuned and until then have an awesome weekend*

I’m super pumped to have been invited to be a guest on “The Grind”- a new improvised musical talk show by Grindestone Theatre (of The 11 O’clock Number! ) and hosted by dear friend and fabulous actor/director, Dallas Friesen. The show will take place next Friday March 23rd at 9PM in the basement of Holy Trinity Anglican Church  (10037 84 Ave NW).

In addition to being a guest on the show and displaying one of my pieces at the event, we will be having an exclusive pre-screening of “Making Dallas”, a short video project I have been working on with the University of Alberta Film Club that follows the creation of a string portrait. I am actually so excited to share my work and to see what ends up going down the night of. With improv who knows what things will end up happening? One thing is for sure, though, I’ve seen the cast members in action before, and they are so talented & clever it’s bound to be entertaining.
